# Start here: getting started with Mammoth Analytics

> New to Mammoth? Learn what it does, follow the quick start, build a first pipeline, learn the core ideas, set up a workspace and pick a path for your role.

Mammoth is a cloud data platform for business teams: you bring data into a project, clean and combine it in a pipeline, keep it current with automations, and send it on as exports, dashboards, docs or slides. This section is for new users in any role: start with the [Quick start](https://mammoth.io/docs/learn/start/quick-start/), or pick a plan for your role in [Pick your path](https://mammoth.io/docs/learn/start/pick-your-path/).

Tip: start by automating one report you rebuild by hand every week or month. Learn views and pipelines first, because the rest builds on them; then add connectors and automations.
