Developers

Everything Mammoth does, from code.

A command line tool, a Python SDK and a REST API over the same operations. The reference lives in the docs and is generated from the product.

Before you start

The two things people ask first.

How do I authenticate?

A bearer token on the request, issued from your workspace. The docs carry the current header names and the token lifecycle, so take them from there rather than from a blog post.

Authentication in the docs

Can an assistant read the docs?

Yes. The documentation is served over MCP at https://docs.mammoth.io/mcp, which offers three tools: search the documentation, fetch a page, list what is there. It serves documentation only, and it does not touch your data.

Agent setup

Start with a workspace.

The API, the CLI and the SDK all work against the same workspace you get on sign-up. Bring one file and build from there.
