A platform user builds pipelines, runs transforms, manages data, or configures orchestration. Dashboard viewers are always unlimited and free — a 10-person team on Pro sharing dashboards with 500 stakeholders still counts as 10 platform users.
A premium connection is any data source beyond files and databases — a SaaS app like Salesforce or HubSpot, a REST API, a cloud warehouse like Snowflake or BigQuery, or cloud storage like Amazon S3. Each source counts as one connection, no matter how many tables or resources you pull from it. Connect to Salesforce and pull Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities — that’s still one premium connection. It also doesn’t matter whether the connector is native or AI-built; both count the same. Files (CSV, Excel, Sheets, JSON, URL, Webhooks) and standard databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) are unlimited on every plan and never count.
You can almost certainly still connect to it. Mammoth has a native catalogue of tested, health-monitored connectors for common sources — databases, cloud warehouses, and popular SaaS apps. For anything outside that catalogue, describe the source or paste its API and Mammoth’s AI builds a connector for it, then validates it against live data before saving — nothing flows downstream until the schema checks out. Native or AI-built, it behaves the same in your workflows and counts as a single premium connection. For proprietary or unusual systems, Enterprise includes connectors custom-built by our team, typically within a week.
Yes. The limit is on how many premium sources you’re connected to at once, not a one-time selection. Remove a connection you no longer need and that slot frees up for a new source. Your saved pipelines and dashboards stay intact.
When IT or compliance requires single sign-on, enforced multi-factor authentication, network access restrictions, private cloud deployment, or long-term audit retention. Enterprise also lifts the premium connection limit entirely — connect to as many sources as you need — and includes custom-built connectors for proprietary systems, a dedicated success manager, and a 99.9% financially-backed uptime guarantee.
Each plan has a fixed number of platform users: 1 on Free, 5 on Starter, 10 on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise. If you need more users, upgrade to the next tier — your work carries forward with nothing deleted. Dashboard viewers are always unlimited and free on every plan, so the user limit only applies to people who build pipelines and manage data.

Row-level security lets you build one dashboard and share it with multiple clients or teams — each viewer sees only the rows assigned to them, with no indication other data exists. You pick a filter column (like client_name or region), assign each viewer to their values, and Mammoth handles the rest server-side. No code, no formulas. A preview dropdown lets you see exactly what each viewer will see before you share. Available on Pro and Enterprise.
Your data is preserved for 90 days on any paid plan (30 days on Free). During that window you can reactivate your account and pick up exactly where you left off — pipelines, dashboards, connections, everything. After the retention window, data is permanently deleted. Enterprise customers can negotiate custom retention periods as part of their contract.
