Your assistant is only as good as the data it can reach
- It can't see your data, so you copy and paste exports into the chat.
- The AI model adds up the rows itself.
- It can describe a dashboard, but you still build it.
- It reads the data you've connected to Mammoth, from any of 100+ sources.
- Mammoth calculates totals, counts and averages, so the numbers are exact.
- It cleans the data, builds the dashboard and shares the link.
See it work
From a question to a shared dashboard, in one chat
Three requests in one conversation. Each step shows the Mammoth tool your assistant used, and what kind of action it is.

Set up
Add Mammoth to your AI assistant
Pick your assistant. You need a Mammoth account. There's nothing to install.
- 1
In Claude on the web or Claude Desktop, add a custom connector with this address.
https://mcp.mammoth.io/mcp
- 2
Sign in to Mammoth when Claude asks. Pick the workspace and the project you want Claude to use.
- 3
Optional: in the connector's settings, set read-only tools and interactive tools to Always allow. Claude then asks you less often, and still asks before anything destructive.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organisation.
- 1
Add the server from your terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http mammoth https://mcp.mammoth.io/mcp
- 2
In a Claude Code session, run /mcp, choose mammoth and sign in.
- 3
Optional: add --scope user to the first command to use Mammoth in every project.
- 1
In ChatGPT, open Plugins, select the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server.
- 2
Enter a name and this address.
https://mcp.mammoth.io/mcp
- 3
Set authentication to OAuth. If ChatGPT offers Client ID Metadata Documents (CIMD), choose it.
- 4
Accept the warning, choose Create as a plugin, then install the plugin and sign in to Mammoth.
The plugin has to be installed, not just created, before ChatGPT can use it.
- 1
Add this to .vscode/mcp.json in your project. It holds no password or key.
{ "servers": { "mammoth": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.mammoth.io/mcp" } } } - 2
Sign in to Mammoth when VS Code asks.
Using Cursor? It canโt sign in to Mammothโs server yet, so use the Mammoth CLI there. Full details are in our MCP docs.
