What is an SEO report template?

An SEO report template is a ready-made report for your search performance, with the numbers and charts already chosen. This one reads a Google Search Console export: upload it and it fills in with clicks, impressions, click-through rate and non-brand clicks, by month, query and page. It shows how much traffic search brings and which searches and pages bring it.

SEO report template questions

What should an SEO report include?
Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and non-brand clicks at the top, then clicks and impressions by month, and the queries and pages that bring the most clicks. Add average position or clicks by country when you need to find out why a number moved.
How do I export data from Search Console?
Open the Performance report, set the date range, and choose Export, then Download CSV. For this template, export by date, query and page so each row has all three.
How do I use this SEO report template?
Export your data from Search Console as a CSV or Excel file and upload it to Mammoth. Then paste the template sentence from the top of this page. Mammoth builds the same numbers and charts from your data.
Is the template free?
Yes. The template is free to copy, and building it from an uploaded Search Console performance export works on Mammoth's free plan.
Can I change the template?
Yes. Ask for the change in plain words, such as "add clicks by device" or "show last month only", and Mammoth updates the dashboard.
Can Mammoth connect to Search Console directly?
Not with a ready-made connector, so this template reads an export. Upload a new Search Console performance export when you want the numbers brought up to date.
Can I combine Search Console with other sources?
Yes. Upload the Search Console performance export and connect GA4, an ad account or a CRM alongside it, join them in Mammoth, and build one dashboard across all of them.
Can I share it with clients?
Yes. Share a link or have it emailed on a schedule, and viewers are free on every plan. On the Mammoth Pro plan you can put your own logo and domain on it.
Is the data on this page real?
No. It is sample data for an invented brand, in the same columns a Search Console performance export uses. The dashboard itself is real: it was built in Mammoth, and you can open it live.
