There's no general MySQL MCP server from Oracle. Its own server is a proof of concept for MySQL HeatWave. Most people use community servers they install and run themselves, with a database login in their settings.

Does my AI assistant get my database password?

How does my assistant get to my MySQL data?

Are the numbers right?

Yes. Mammoth calculates totals, counts and averages itself and gives your assistant the result. The AI model doesn't add up the rows.

What does it cost?

The MCP server is on every Mammoth plan, including Free. The Free plan reads MySQL, so you can do all of this without paying.

Do I paste a password or API key into the chat?

No. You connect MySQL inside Mammoth and sign in to Mammoth from your assistant. No password passes through the model.

Can my assistant change things by mistake?

Every tool is labelled as read-only, a change you can undo, or one that deletes or sends data out. You can set your assistant to ask you before it uses anything that isn't read-only.
