Your two options

Two ways to connect Google Analytics to your AI assistant

Mammoth answers questions about Google Analytics and your other data. Google's own server works inside Google Analytics. You can add both to the same assistant.

Option 1

Mammoth

Ask about Google Analytics and your other data. Mammoth calculates the answer, so the numbers are exact. Included on every plan.

You ask
“How many sessions did each channel bring in last month?”
Option 2

Google's own server

Reads live GA4 reports. Can't change your Analytics settings. You install it and set up Google Cloud yourself.

You ask
“Show last week's sessions by channel.”

  • How many sessions did each channel bring in last month?
  • How many conversions did we get each week this quarter?
  • What's the average engagement time by channel?
  • Which campaigns brought the most new users this month?

Copy a question and paste it into your assistant once Mammoth is connected.

Option 1 · Mammoth

Ask about Google Analytics and your other data together

Connect Google Analytics and any of Mammoth’s 100+ other sources, like HubSpot, Jira or Salesforce. Join them once in Mammoth, and your assistant can answer questions that cover all of them.

Common questions about Google Analytics MCP

Is there an official Google Analytics MCP server?
Yes. Google publishes a free Google Analytics MCP server. It can only read your data, and you install and run it yourself with a Google Cloud project. Use it to work inside Google Analytics. Use Mammoth to ask questions across Google Analytics and your other data.
Is the Google Analytics MCP server read-only?
Yes. Google's server can read your reports and property settings, but it can't change your Google Analytics configuration.
How does my assistant get to my Google Analytics data?
You connect Google Analytics to Mammoth once. Mammoth keeps a copy of the data and updates it on demand or on a schedule. Your assistant asks Mammoth, not Google Analytics.
Are the numbers right?
Yes. Mammoth calculates totals, counts and averages itself and gives your assistant the result. The AI model doesn't add up the rows.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and Claude Code, ChatGPT, and VS Code. Cursor can't sign in yet, so use the Mammoth CLI there.
What does it cost?
The MCP server is on every Mammoth plan, including Free. Connecting Google Analytics needs a paid plan.
Do I paste a password or API key into the chat?
No. You connect Google Analytics inside Mammoth and sign in to Mammoth from your assistant. No password passes through the model.
Can my assistant change things by mistake?
Every tool is labelled as read-only, a change you can undo, or one that deletes or sends data out. You can set your assistant to ask you before it uses anything that isn't read-only.

Ask your AI assistant about your Google Analytics data.
