What is a Google Sheets dashboard template?

A Google Sheets dashboard template is a ready-made dashboard for data you keep in a sheet, with the numbers and charts already chosen. This one reads a sales tracker: connect the sheet and it fills in with revenue, units, deals and deal size, by month, rep and region. When someone adds a row to the sheet, the dashboard picks it up on the next refresh.

Google Sheets dashboard template questions

Can I make a dashboard in Google Sheets itself?

Yes, with charts and pivot tables on a separate tab. It works for a few charts, but every new view is built by hand and other data has to be pasted in. A Mammoth dashboard reads the sheet and keeps the charts separate from the rows people edit.

What columns does my sheet need?

One row per deal, with a date, the rep, the region, units, revenue and whether it is a new account or a reorder. If your columns have different names, ask Mammoth to use yours and it rebuilds the cards.

How do I use this Google Sheets dashboard template?

Connect Google Sheets to Mammoth, or upload a sales tracker sheet as a CSV or Excel file. Then paste the template sentence from the top of this page. Mammoth builds the same numbers and charts from your data.

Is the template free?

The template is free to copy. Building it from an uploaded sales tracker sheet works on Mammoth's free plan. Connecting your Google Sheets account directly needs a paid plan.

Can I change the template?
