What is a Shopify dashboard template?

A Shopify dashboard template is a ready-made dashboard for your store with the numbers and charts already chosen. You connect Shopify and it fills in with net sales, orders, average order value, units, discounts and returns, by day, product type and channel. It updates from Shopify, so nobody has to export sales each week.

Shopify dashboard template questions

What should a Shopify dashboard include?
Net sales, orders, average order value, units, discounts and returns at the top, then a daily sales trend, sales by product type and sales by channel. Add returning customer rate or sales by discount code when you need to find out why a number moved.
What is the difference between gross sales and net sales?
Gross sales are the full price of everything sold. Net sales take away discounts and returns. The dashboard leads with net sales because that is what the store kept.
How do I use this Shopify dashboard template?
Connect Shopify to Mammoth, or upload a Shopify sales export as a CSV or Excel file. Then paste the template sentence from the top of this page. Mammoth builds the same numbers and charts from your data.
Is the template free?
The template is free to copy. Building it from an uploaded Shopify sales export works on Mammoth's free plan. Connecting your Shopify account directly needs a paid plan.
Can I change the template?
Yes. Ask for the change in plain words, such as "add clicks by device" or "show last month only", and Mammoth updates the dashboard.
Can Mammoth connect to Shopify directly?
Yes. Shopify is one of Mammoth's 100+ tested connectors, so the dashboard reads your account rather than an export.
How often does the dashboard update?
Each refresh pulls the latest Shopify data and every number and chart updates. Daily on Team and every 3 hours on Pro, with no copying and pasting.
Can I combine Shopify with other sources?
Yes. Connect Shopify alongside GA4, a CRM or a spreadsheet, join them in Mammoth, and build one dashboard across all of them, for example ad spend against the deals it produced.
Can I share it with clients?
Yes. Share a link or have it emailed on a schedule, and viewers are free on every plan. On the Mammoth Pro plan you can put your own logo and domain on it.
Is the data on this page real?
No. It is sample data for an invented brand, in the same columns a Shopify sales export uses. The dashboard itself is real: it was built in Mammoth, and you can open it live.
