Someone typed

“show every shopify product sku with stock on hand, recent sales in the last 90 days, and tied-up value from inventory times price, with a Status that says "Agrees" for healthy rows and a short reason for the rest”

The agent read it as

show every Shopify Products sku with stock on hand, recent sales in the last 90 days from Shopify Orders, and tied-up value from inventory times price, with a Status that says "Agrees" for healthy rows and a short reason for the rest

How do you build a dead stock report from Shopify exports?

Export your Shopify products and orders, then load them into the workflow. It matches SKUs, totals sales from the last 90 days, calculates tied-up value from stock on hand times price, and adds a Status column. Healthy rows show Agrees, and rows that do not match the rule get a short reason.

How it works

  2. 2Swap in your exportsUpload your own files as they come out of your tools. The agent checks the workflow on your rows.
  3. 3Change it in words, then turn it onSay what to change and see the new result before anything saves. Then choose when it runs.

Shopify stock status: questions

What export should you use?
Use a products export for stock on hand and price, and an orders export for recent sales. The workflow reads the exported files and works from the rows in them.
What happens to rows that do not match the rule?
They stay in the output with a status that shows why they do not match. For this report, that can be things like no recent sales or missing data needed for the match.
How do you change the rules in words?
You can rewrite the rule in plain words, such as changing the sales window, the stock filter, or the value formula. The workflow follows the new wording when it runs on the exported files.
