Someone typed

“show sku and return reason from the shopify orders and returns exports for the last 90 days, with return rate returned units / sold units, and Status says "Agrees" when it's 0, else short reason”

The agent read it as

show sku and return reason from Shopify orders export and Shopify returns export for the last 90 days, with return rate returned units / sold units, and Status says "Agrees" when it's 0, else short reason

How do you build a Shopify returns report by product?

Export your Shopify orders for the last 90 days, then export your Shopify returns for the same period. Use the SKU from both files to group sold units, bring in return reasons, and calculate return rate as returned units divided by sold units. Add a Status rule that says Agrees when the rate is 0, and show a short reason when it is not.

How it works

How to use the SKU return rates workflow

  1. 1Get early accessWe invite people in small batches, job by job. You'll land on this workflow, already built and checked on the sample files.
  2. 2Swap in your exportsUpload your own files as they come out of your tools. The agent checks the workflow on your rows.
  3. 3Change it in words, then turn it onSay what to change and see the new result before anything saves. Then choose when it runs.

SKU return rates: questions

Which export should you use?
Use the Shopify orders export for sold units and the Shopify returns export for returned units and return reasons. Use the same date range in both files, such as the last 90 days.
What happens to rows that do not match?
Rows that do not match stay out of the matched result. You can keep them in a separate list if you want to review products with sales but no returns, or returns that do not line up with a sold SKU.
How do you change the rules?
Edit the steps in words, for example change the date range, choose a different product field, or change the status rule. You can also change how return rate is calculated or what text appears when the rate is not zero.
