Someone typed

“show every customer from our customer list and the crm customer list matched by email only, with a Status that says "Agrees" when name and email both match, else what's different”

The agent read it as

show every customer from my Customer list and the CRM list matched by email only, with a Status that says "Agrees" when name and email both match, else what's different

How do you compare two columns in Excel?

Export both lists as spreadsheets, then use email as the key column to line up the rows. Mammoth matches the CRM list to your customer list by email and sets a Status for each row. A row shows Agrees when name and email both match, otherwise it shows what is different or that there is no CRM match.

How it works

How to use the Customer CRM check workflow

  1. 1Get early accessWe invite people in small batches, job by job. You'll land on this workflow, already built and checked on the sample files.
  2. 2Swap in your exportsUpload your own files as they come out of your tools. The agent checks the workflow on your rows.
  3. 3Change it in words, then turn it onSay what to change and see the new result before anything saves. Then choose when it runs.

Customer CRM check: questions

Which export should you use?
Use the spreadsheet export from each list, one from your customer list and one from your CRM list. The file should include the columns you want to compare, such as name and email.
What happens to rows that do not match?
Rows that do not find a match by the key column stay in the result with a status that says they do not match. That lets you see records that are only in one list or that differ on the fields you compare.
How do you change the rules?
Change the steps in words, for example, which column is the key and which fields must match. You can also change the status text so it says what you want when rows agree or differ.
