Amex card match: questions

Which export should you use from Amex and QuickBooks?
Use the statement export from Amex and the credit card charges export from QuickBooks. The workflow reads the exported rows and compares the fields in them.
What happens to rows that do not match?
Rows that do not find a matching charge in QuickBooks are marked Not entered. Rows that appear more than once in QuickBooks are marked Duplicate.
How do you change the matching rules?
You change the rules by editing the words that define the match, such as date, payee, and amount. You can also change what status labels are used for matched, missing, or duplicate rows.
