Someone typed

“show every amazon fba inbound shipment from the inbound shipments file, compare shipped to received plus damaged, and show claimable units; status Agrees when they match, otherwise Shortage or Damaged”

The agent read it as

show every amazon fba inbound shipment from my FBA shipment contents file, compare shipped to received plus damaged from my FBA inventory adjustments, and show claimable units; status Agrees when they match, otherwise Shortage or Damaged

How do you reconcile FBA inventory?

Export your FBA shipment contents and FBA inventory adjustments from Amazon Seller Central, then load both files. The workflow matches shipment rows, sums damaged units, and compares shipped units to received plus damaged units. Rows that do not match are marked Shortage or Damaged, and matching rows are marked Agrees.

Inbound shipment claims: questions

Which export should you use?
Use the FBA shipment contents export for what you shipped, and the FBA inventory adjustments export for damaged units. If your export names differ, use the file that lists shipment lines and the file that lists inventory adjustments.
What happens to rows that do not match?
Rows that do not match are kept in the result. They are marked Shortage when received plus damaged is less than shipped, or Damaged when damaged units explain the difference.
How do you change the rules?
Edit the matching and calculation steps in words. You can change which columns are used as keys, which adjustment rows count as damaged, and how the status is decided.
