The steps
- 1
Open the Q&A page
Dashboards built in Mammoth come with a Q&A page next to the others. To see it as a viewer does, open the dashboard and choose Preview, then Q&A. Answers come only from this dashboard's data.

- 2
Ask in your own words
Type a question the way a viewer would, such as: which product brought in the most revenue in August?
- 3
Read the answer and how it was read
The answer comes first: 26,940 from the Canyon 4P tent. Under it, Mammoth says how it read the question, here revenue summed for orders dated 1 to 31 August, and draws a chart of every product so the answer is easy to check. If it read the question wrong, choose Not what I meant?

- 4
See the source, get the CSV
Each answer names the dataset it came from. Open the answer as a table, or download it as a CSV. Suggested follow-up questions sit underneath.

Questions viewers ask
Follow-ups the dashboard doesn't show on its own:
- Which product brought in the most revenue in August?
- Revenue by channel in August
- Which region bought the most Canyon 4P tents?
- How did tent revenue trend by month?
Questions are shared anonymously with the dashboard's editors, so you can see what viewers want and add it to the board.
If it doesn’t look right
- The answer read the question differently
- Choose Not what I meant? and rephrase, naming the column or the dates you mean.
- It won't answer a question
- Q&A answers what the dashboard's data can answer. It says so when a question needs a column the data doesn't have, and it doesn't do forecasts, medians or regressions.
- You don't see the Q&A page
- Viewer Q&A comes with the Team and Pro plans. Compare plans on the pricing page.
