Connectors

Mammoth connects to your data wherever it lives—relational databases, cloud data warehouses, SaaS platforms, cloud storage, and REST APIs. Each connector handles authentication and data selection in a consistent flow, and you can refresh the resulting datasets manually or on a schedule.

This page is for anyone who needs to bring data from an external system into Mammoth, whether you are a data analyst setting up your first import or an admin who manages connections.

Where to start

Looking for other ways to create a dataset, such as uploading a file or pasting from the clipboard? See Data sources.

Animation of the Data Library: New Dataset opens a dialog with Connectors selected and a searchable grid of connector tiles

How to add a connector

Connectors follow the same flow:

  1. Go to Data Library and click + New Dataset
  2. Select Connectors
  3. Choose your connector from the catalog
  4. Authenticate (credentials form or OAuth)
  5. Select your table or write a query
  6. Preview the data, name your dataset, and save (for file connectors, select a file and click Create new dataset)

See Understanding data preview & query for a full walkthrough of the query and preview screen.
