Import Zoom meeting and webinar data into Mammoth

The Zoom connector imports meeting, webinar and user data from your Zoom account into Mammoth as a dataset. You sign in to Zoom; there are no keys to copy. Open it from Data Library > New dataset > Connectors and search for Zoom. Project Admins create the connection; Project Editors can start datasets from a connection the project already has. Which connectors you can add depends on your plan.

What you can bring in from Zoom

Tables the signed-in Zoom account can see, such as:

AreaExample tables
MeetingsMeetings, PastMeetings, MeetingRegistrants, MeetingParticipantsReport
WebinarsWebinars, WebinarParticipants, WebinarRegistrants, WebinarAbsentees
Account and usersUsers, Account, AccountCallLogs

Tick only the columns you want. The dataset can refresh daily or only when you ask.

Before you connect Zoom

You need a Zoom account with access to the data you want to import.

Connect Zoom to Mammoth

  1. Go to the Data Library, click New dataset, and choose Connectors.
  2. Search for Zoom and click its tile. The connector workspace opens with the Chat showing. See Connect a database or app for the shared steps.
  3. In the chat, click the button to sign in to Zoom and allow Mammoth access.

Pick Zoom tables and columns

  1. In Tables, open a table and tick the columns you want. They gather in Your table.
  2. Click Preview 100 rows to check the data.

Save Zoom data as a dataset

  1. Click Save as dataset.
  2. Enter a Dataset name and pick the folder under Save in.
  3. Under Keep it up to date, choose Daily or Manual.
  4. Click Save.

Refresh Zoom data and add only new rows

Choosing Daily creates a Dataset Refresh automation that you can reschedule later.

Zoom supports a key column, so after you save, the dataset's Update method offers:

Update methodWhat it does
Replace all dataRebuilds the dataset from the source on every refresh
Add new rows onlyKeeps your rows and adds rows above the last value of a Key column
Keep only the newest rowsEmpties the dataset, then brings in rows since the last refresh

For the last two, pick a Key column whose values only go up, such as an ID or a date.
